COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY

“At The Horton Group, we are proud of our deep commitment to community support both locally and nationally. We truly understand the importance of service and giving back to the community. Our company and employees actively support and assist numerous organizations and charities.”

-Deb Smith, Director of Public Relations

The Horton Group understands the importance of being involved in our communities. We support many local and national charities through our “Denim Days for a Cause” program. Our employees consistently contribute and those funds are matched by The Horton Group. We have also participated in other community programs, such as:

  • Charity walking events in support of Cancer Research, Walk for the Cure, JDF and other local organizations
  • Collection of goods to be sent to other countries in need after a catastrophic event
  • Volunteering to assist mentally and physically challenged kids during an annual event
  • Working at a nursing home to assist with activities for seniors

The true spirit and passion of The Horton Group is displayed daily by our employees who consistently make a difference through their generous donation of money and valuable time spent helping others.

FALL & WINTER 2011

The Horton Group along with Signature Bank, The Metropolitan Club and the Women's Bar Association of Illinois worked together on the 2011 All You Need is (G) Love Campaign which benefits Coats for Kids Chicago. CFKC was established in 2004 as a public, charitable foundation benefiting needy children in Chicago.

This year The Horton Group collected over 10 boxes of coats, hats, scarves and gloves in the month of November and made a financial contribution to CKFC. On December 15th over 50 underprivileged children will be brought to Horton's Orland Park location where they will enjoy an afternoon of snacks along with a "shopping" spree where they can select warm winter accessories.

Thank you to our coordinating Horton Humanitarian for the event, Paul Shaheen.
