Health Care System Consultants, Inc. (HCSC) Merges with The Horton Group

We are pleased to announce Health Care System Consultants of Milwaukee Wisconsin has merged with The Horton Group. Horton's corporate headquarters are located in Orland Park, Illinois with Wisconsin locations in Waukesha and Wausau.

Established in 1994 by Andrew J. Serio GBA, President, Rae Anne Beaudry, Executive Vice President and Gregory Bass, HCSC was founded on a philosophy of offering experience, dedication and professional service. Health Care System Consultants has grown steadily over the last 13 years concentrating on employee benefits in the Wisconsin public sector market.

William F. Horton, Vice President - Horton Risk Management Services Division

We are pleased to announce William F. Horton has joined The Horton Group as a Vice President in the Horton Risk Managements Services Division. Bill will be located in our Scottsdale, Arizona Office. He has over 20 years in the insurance industry with designations of CPCU, CIC and ARM. Bill's background experience and familiarity with the local market in Phoenix will be a great asset to our Agency and expansion efforts in the valley.

Bill is the son of William Horton, Sr. one of the original owners of The Horton Group. His ability to join a firm founded by his father and uncle was the primary reason for his move to the Agency.

Industry Leader in Welding Distributors Insurance Program joins The Horton Group- January 1, 2007

Ken Tidwell has joined The Horton Group effective January 1, 2007.  Mr. Tidwell is considered one of the foremost specialists in the area of risk management and insurance for the welding gas distributors industry.  Ken's client base along with his agency support team will continue to be based in Nashville, TN, where Ken will serve as the national practice leader for The Horton Group's program for welding gas distributors.  Mr. Tidwell is an active member of GAWDA, serving on the associations young leadership committee along with active participation in several other leading industry associations and industry lobbying groups.

Pirpiris Insurance Agency

We are pleased to announce that The Horton Group has acquired certain assets of the Pirpiris Insurance Agency of Park Ridge, IL.   Established in 1987, by Ted D. Pirpiris, the Pirpiris Insurance Agency was founded on a philosophy of offering personal, professional service. The Pirpiris Agency has grown steadily over the last 20 years concentrating on the property and casualty insurance business in both Illinois and Indiana.

“We will now be a stronger force in the Hospitality and Food Industry, with access to more carriers and services that where not accessible to our agency in the past” said Ted Pirpiris.

Ted D. Pirpiris will join Horton as a Vice President in the Horton Select Division along with two staff members.   The Pirpiris staff has re-located to The Horton Group’s downtown Chicago office at 221 N. LaSalle St. and will continue to specialize in the restaurant and grocery business. “We are excited to welcome Ted and his staff to the Horton Team. Ronald Assise Insurance Group

We are pleased to announce that the Ronald Assise Insurance Group and The
Horton Group have merged effective 10/1/2005.  Assise Insurance is located
in Crestwood Illinois, where Ron and his staff have been serving their
clients since 1986.  The Assise Agency had a diverse client base consisting
of Commercial, Benefits and Personal Insurance, with a strong emphasis on
the Personal Auto and Home marketplace. The Crestwood location and all
existing Assise staff members will remain with the new operation.  Ronald
Assise has assumed the position of President of the Horton Personal
Insurance Division. "This merger solidifies The Horton Group as the premier
personal insurance agency in all the Midwest and one of an elite few in the
entire country. The combined resources of these two organizations will
