Bob Godwin is the Senior Vice President of the Horton Personal Insurance / Private Client Group Division. He specializes in providing complimentary, comprehensive reviews and evaluations of high-net-worth individuals’ insurance protection.
As President of Horton Personal Insurance for 11 years, this division has grown into one of the largest personal insurance agencies in the United States under Bob’s leadership. Among his many speaking engagements, in 2005 Bob was invited by the Landmark Preservation Council of Illinois and the Illinois Historical Preservation Council to speak at the 24th Statewide Preservation Conference on how “All Personal Insurance Policies and Insurance Carriers Are Not Created Equal” & “You May Have Outgrown Your Current Personal Insurance Coverage.”
Bob has served on many of the insurance industry’s Midwest agent advisory councils, as well as several national advisory boards for carriers such as Royal Insurance Company, CGU Insurance Company, General Accident Insurance and One Beacon Insurance Company. Currently Bob sits on the Midwest Agents Advisory Council for Encompass Insurance Company, Fireman’s Fund and Travelers Insurance.
Bob is married and has four daughters. He enjoys golfing and sailing in his leisure time.
