Ed Young is a Senior Vice President with The Horton Group in the Horton Benefits Services Division in Orland Park. He has more than 20 years of experience in the employee benefits and estate planning insurance industry. Prior to joining Horton through an agency merger, Ed was President and Owner of an independent insurance agency in Glenwood, Illinois. Before his insurance career, Ed managed Jewel Food Stores for 15 years in addition to owning a printing company.
Ed is an Employee Benefit Specialist who services more than 100 companies in the Group Health, Life, Dental, Disability and Pension areas. He also is a Certified Estate Planner (CEP) and a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).
Ed is a graduate of Brother Rice High School and attended Chicago City College before completing his degree in Business Management from Calumet College.
