Producer and Vice President of Public Entity - Horton Risk Management Services
Ed Young, Jr. is a Producer with The Horton Group in the Risk Management Services
division in Orland Park, Illinois. This division includes all insurance, risk management,
and risk financing alternatives that pertain to commercial property and casualty. He is
responsible for new account development and providing a high level of service to
existing clients. He specializes in public entity risks.
Ed has more than fifteen years of experience in the insurance industry. He has
worked both as an insurance company underwriter as well as an insurance broker
sales executive. This unique perspective provides Ed with a great deal of insight into
the appropriate design and implementation of a risk management program tailored
exclusively to your individual needs.
Ed is a graduate of the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois with a degree in
Business Administration. Additionally, he has continued his education in insurance
with various industry coursework including progress toward obtaining his Chartered
Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation which is recognized as one
of the highest achievements in the insurance industry.
Ed is married and lives in Oak Forest with his wife, Jennifer and daughters Emma and
Leah. He enjoys reading, hockey, and long distance cycling.
