Senior Sales Executive - Horton Select Insurance

Jim Kruger is a Senior Sales Executive with The Horton Group’s Select Insurance Division in Chicago. Horton Select addresses the property/liability insurance needs of the agency’s small business clients. It also serves policyholders in many of the agency’s trade group & association programs. Horton Select teams work with a limited number of insurance carrier partners who share our desire to service small business in a special way. Jim is responsible for new account development and providing a high level of service to existing clients.

Jim has more than thirty five years experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. Prior to joining the Horton organization, he was President of Kruger Insurance Agency, which was an all-lines insurance agency that served the Chicago area since 1937 when it was started by his father. He has in-depth experience in all areas of middle market accounts and has represented larger accounts in the areas of transportation, heavy industry and packaging.

He is a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Economics.

Jim resides in Glencoe, Illinois with his wife, Debra and two sons.
