Ronald Assise is President of the Personal Insurance Division at The Horton Group in the Orland Park office. This division has grown into one of the largest personal insurance agencies in the United States. As one of the leading agencies in Illinois for many of the top insurance carriers, Horton provides a customer-focused approach to solving the insurance needs of their customers. Ron and his staff regularly perform comprehensive insurance reviews for their current and prospective clients, in order to deliver the value-added service that is the trademark of The Horton Group.
Ron brings more than 20 years experience in personal insurance. Prior to joining Horton, he was the Principal of The Ronald Assise Insurance Group located in Crestwood, IL. He currently serves as a member of the AAA Insurance advisory board and the Travelers / St. Paul Advisory Council. He also acted as moderator for the Erie Insurance Agents Advisory Council in 2004 and 2005 and was a member of the advisory board from 1999-2005. Ron has also served in similar capacities in the past for Mercury Insurance, American Family and Prudential.
Over the course of his career, he has earned numerous honors, including the Million Dollar Round Table, Chairman’s Service Award, the Mid-America Award of Achievement and the National Quality Award. A graduate of The Agency Management Training Council, Ron has earned the LUTC designation, is a certified pre-licensing instructor and has completed several segments of the Chartered Life Underwriter program.
Ron and his wife Cheryl reside in Tinley Park and have 2 children, Kristyn and Nicholas. In his leisure time, Ron enjoys golf and vacationing with his family.
