Horton Select Insurance - Senior Sales Executive
Scott Downs is a Senior Sales Executive with The Horton Group’s Select Insurance Division in Orland Park. Horton Select addresses the property/liability insurance needs of the agency’s small business clients. It also serves policyholders in many of the agency’s trade group & association programs. Horton Select teams work with a limited number of insurance carrier partners who share our desire to service small business in a special way. Scott is responsible for new account development and providing a high level of service to existing clients. He specializes in the hospitality and the automotive service industries.
Scott has been with Horton since 1980. He is a member of both the Automotive Service Professionals of Illinois (ASPI) and the Automotive Service Association (ASA). He recently joined the Asian-American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and participates in many regional events.
Scott is a graduate of Richards High School and attended Moraine Valley Community College. He has continued his education in the insurance industry by attending various advanced technical courses and seminars.
Scott resides in Orland Park, IL. Away from the office, he enjoys fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities.
