Steven G. Mannos
Vice President - Horton Select Insurance
Steve Mannos is a Vice President with the Horton Group Select Insurance and Risk
Management Divisions in the Chicago office. He has become a leader in our Hospitality
and General Property Casualty Insurance Division by understanding all aspects of the
restaurant industry and providing a high level of service in this field.
Steve has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry; currently co-owns a
successful loop restaurant and is an active member of the Illinois Restaurant Association.
He is certified in Food Sanitation by the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago. He has
also completed the Beverage Alcohol Sales Service Program. Steve maintains his Certified
Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation by attending annual continuing education updates.
Steve is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. He serves on the board of A Silver Lining
Foundation - a cancer advocacy foundation. Steve is also a founder of the Mary Moore
Culinary Scholarship fund at Robert Morris College. He is both a member of the board
and finance committee at the Dearborn Tower Condominium in Chicago where he and his
wife reside.
Steve enjoys live classical music and is an avid Chicago sports fan. He also enjoys reading
historical biographies and walking along Chicago's beautiful lake front with his wife.
