Unlike many insurers that are writing policies for resale shops, St. Paul/Travelers is very aware of what the resale industry is all about. On the other hand, many other insurers are writing policies for these shops under the misconception that they are insuring typical retail stores. We routinely see other agents and insurers classifying these risks incorrectly in an effort to bend the rules and "fit" them into more stringent underwriting guidelines. With St. Paul/Travelers, this is unnecessary.
