23rd IAMMA Conference: The Pieces That Make Local Government Work

The Illinois Association of Municipal Management Assistants (IAMMA) is pleased to celebrate its 23rd Annual Conference: The Pieces That Make Local Government Work. 

The conference will feature speakers from a variety of local government professions and organizations on the following topics:

* Participatory Budgeting
* Public Performance Management
* Reducing Barriers to Innovation
* Talent Recruitment
* Demographic Trends from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning

The conference keynote speaker is Mr. Bob Kiely Jr., the former city manger of the City of Lake Forest, IL. Mr. Kiely served as Lake Forest’s city manager for nearly 30 years. 

Reduced rates are available to local government interns and students ($35 for IAMMA members; $45 for non-members). Lunch will be provided. This event is a great opportunity for new and seasoned public sector professionals.
