WARNING! OSHA on Steroids! OSHA Expands its Reach Far Beyond Traditional Safety Concerns! (Waukesha, WI)
Registration is from 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. | Continental Breakfast for Attendees
OSHA now regulates post-accident drug testing, safety incentive programs, discipline for safety violations and the late reporting of injuries.
Buried in hundreds of pages introducing OSHA’s new electronic recordkeeping requirements are requirements that now regulate an employer’s right to administer post-accident drug and alcohol tests, implement safety incentive programs, discipline injured employees for safety violations, and even discipline employees for not reporting work-related injuries in a timely manner.
Unfortunately, these new requirements will punish the employers who have already implemented a number of very effective risk management protocols. This workshop will detail these new requirements and provide attendees with guidance on how to avoid citations and create programs that comply with the new stipulations.
