In this presentation, we will review recent developments in employment law both in Wisconsin and nationally that Wisconsin employers need to be aware of. The presentation will also cover compliance reminders and updates to litigation trends within the state.

Devin Hayes

Devin Hayes is Senior Counsel in Michael Best’s Labor & Employment Relations practice, focusing on risk avoidance and employer defense. He frequently represents employers in administrative proceedings and state and federal court litigation involving wage and hour class actions, discrimination allegations, FMLA actions, and OSHA disputes. Devin’s work includes representing clients before various government agencies including the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division, Illinois Human Rights Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, as well as similar agencies across the country.

Devin also regularly counsels clients on day-to-day employment matters, including employee discipline, performance, unemployment, employee and contractor classification and exemption, and much more. He regularly advises clients on ADA accommodations, severance agreements, employee handbook reviews, and provides onsite training for employment law compliance and sexual harassment. Devin is experienced in providing supervision and management training on all aspects of employment law.
