Chicago, IL – MAY 25th – The Horton Group, a leading insurance brokerage and risk advisory firm, announced the hiring of Tricia Pucek as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Tricia is a seasoned executive with extensive experience when it comes to overseeing complex financial institutions in the insurance brokerage niche. Most recently she served as Corporate Controller at Hub International.

As Horton’s CFO, Tricia is responsible for ensuring that the accounting team continues to guide the agency to its next level of success by identifying growth opportunities.

“Tricia brings in-depth experience in our industry, and she will be instrumental in providing the finance vision, strategy, and leadership to help us achieve our goals and accelerate to the next level,” said Dan Horton, Chief Sales Officer, of the Horton Group. “With Tricia leading our financial efforts, I’m confident we’ll be well positioned to meet our growth goals.”

Before joining Horton, Tricia spent over nine years at Hub International. While there, she helped the insurance brokerage and it’s over 10,000 employees provide an array of property, casualty, risk management, life and health, employee benefits, investment, and wealth management products and services across North America.

In her role at Hub International, Tricia was responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting and external financial reporting for the billion dollar, private equity owned, agency.

In addition to her accounting expertise in the insurance brokerage industry, Tricia has experience successfully integrating an ERP system within the agency environment, building reporting tools and templates for internal analyses, restructuring reporting, M&A accounting and designing a business development center ROI tracker.
