Chicago, IL – September 26, 2013 – On November 4th, The Horton Group will host its annual nonprofit forum. The yearly event is designed to bring together experts on key topics with nonprofit decision makers for a half day of sharing information, discussing alternatives and crafting solutions. Participants are also encouraged to network between presentations and are treated to breakfast and lunch.
“The annual forum is just one small way in which we try to give back to the agencies that serve our communities. We recognize their tireless efforts and the wonderful work they do. We want to take every opportunity not only to thank them, but bring additional resources and education to their agencies.”
-Jason Helfert
This year, the forum presentation topics will focus on managed care from both a medical model and human service perspective, a general advocacy and budget update and how to address employee morale issues within your agency. Speakers for the featured topics include Art Jones, Principal, Health Management Associates; Judith Gethner, Executive Director for Illinois Partners for Human Service; and Kim Nygaard, On-Site Director at Countryside Association.
The event is being sponsored by IFF, a nonprofit lender and real estate consultant and Community Service Partners, Inc.
