Since issuing temporary regulations to implement the paid leave mandates of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has revised the Act several times.

These regulations provide direction for the administration of the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act (EPSLA) and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act (EFMLEA) – a tricky subject on its own. These changes are made more complex when the DOL updates these FAQs; existing responses may also be updated without notice of any change.
To help employers fast-track their knowledge of these new regulations, we have developed a quiz intended to provide some framework around the two key parts – Emergency Paid Sick Leave (ESL) and Emergency Paid Family and Medical Leave (EFMLA). Please reference our FFCRA Flow Chart here.
Quiz Instructions:
- As you select your answer to each question, the quiz will then move you onto the next question. Some questions have multiple choice options.
- At the end of the questions, click “done” to complete the quiz. It will then bring you to a results page with correct answers highlighted in grey and additional information on the regulations after each question.
