Casey Kaniewski
Sales Executive
Casey Kaniewski is a Sales Executive for Horton’s Employee Benefit Solutions Division. In this role, Casey is responsible for providing expert employee benefits consulting, bringing new clients on board, and servicing and retaining existing clients. He is part of a team of employee benefits-focused specialists dedicated to delivering innovative healthcare solutions to employers.
Before joining Horton in February of 2020, Casey spent over ten years working at Cressy Commercial Real Estate, as both a Founder and Director of Auction Services, and a Senior Broker. Although Casey has never worked in the insurance industry before, his past experience has taught him “hard work and constant professional development.” This has prepared him to “continue his education in a new and ever-changing market like insurance.”
Coming into insurance head-first, Casey is ready to “build his book of business and become an expert in his field” while setting his long-term goal to become a leader in the industry and community. Within his first day at Horton, “Casey knew he had finally landed at an employee-focused company that not only has the battle cry but follows through for all of its customers.”
In today’s insurance industry, Casey wants to be a trusted advisor and an advocate for his clients. “As the everyday consumer and employer continue to absorb the rise in costs,” he believes it is Horton’s job to kick into “overdrive” and do what is best for its clients.
This is “more important to our clients now more than ever” because “with all of the internal and external disruptions at play in the industry, our ability to create foundations that build trust will ultimately make us the best advocates compared to our competition.”
Casey received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Behavior Sciences at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Aside from golfing, skiing, hockey, and spending time with his growing family, Casey’s obsession is with aviation. He has logged in at least a thousand “flight hours on a simulator without ever piloting a plane.” One day, he hopes to receive his private pilot’s license.
