Gag Clause Attestation & Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)

This webinar will cover two important employer compliance responsibilities, one old and one new!
First the new: Employer questions about the upcoming gag clause attestation, which is due before the end of the year, have increased dramatically as carriers and vendors have started to communicate their approach to the rules. It is becoming apparent that many employers will need to complete the attestation themselves for at least some of the parts of their plan. This session will help employers understand the gag clause attestation process and their responsibilities.
Then, for the old: Every year as we enter open enrollment season for many employers, HSA questions increase. In the second portion of this webinar, we will be answering common employer questions about HSA administration and compliance.

Sarah Grcevich is a compliance consultant for Benefit Comply, where she assists employers dealing with employee benefits compliance challenges. Prior to joining Benefit Comply, Sarah worked in compliance and public policy for a major health plan, and also served as the HIPAA privacy official for a health insurance technology company.
David Flotten, J.D., Senior Consultant, Benefit Comply LLC
David Flotten has over 24 years of experience in employee benefits and employment law with a particular focus on health and welfare plan compliance an employee benefits strategic planning. He has helped employers deal with difficult compliance issues related to ERISA, HIPAA, and more. David regularly presents seminars on the ACA, employee benefits compliance, and other HR topics, including for the College of Continuing & Professional Studies at the University of Minnesota. He has also taught the PHR/SPHR and SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam prep courses.

Bob Radecki has more than 30 years of experience in the HR and employee benefits industry, helping employers deal with difficult benefit and compliance matters. Previously, Bob founded and served as president of A.E. Roberts Company, a nationally recognized compliance training and consulting firm.
