Paid Leave for Most Employees Coming in 2024: What Illinois Employers Need to Know
CE Credits: 1.0 HRCI | SHRM 1.0
Starting January 1, 2024, private Illinois employers will be required to give workers paid time off to use for any reason. The coming change will require private employers in the state, even those who already offer paid time off or vacation, to reassess their current policies and practices in light of the law’s nuances (and unanswered questions). In this one-hour webinar, employment attorneys Angela Lam and Michael Chropowicz of the law firm Michael Best & Friedrich LLP will review the legal changes, best practices, and insights from their practices.
