Jeff Sturtecky is a Risk Management Consultant for Horton’s Risk Advisory Solutions Division, where he is dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive, cost-effective, and innovative solutions to address their most complex risk-related challenges and opportunities.

Throughout his career of 34 years, Jeff has excelled as both a producer and a sales leader, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to serving clients’ needs while upholding the highest standards of integrity.

“Our job as a broker is to bridge the gap between clients and insurance carriers, ensuring that both parties are fairly represented and achieving profitable outcomes,” Jeff said. “By serving our customers (clients and carriers) equally, we can satisfy both sides of the transaction.”

Jeff finds fulfillment in solving problems for clients, winning new business and nurturing lasting relationships. With an unwavering dedication to his craft and a commitment to his clients, Jeff continues to significantly contribute to the success of Horton’s Risk Advisory Solutions Division.

“Our job as brokers is to find insurance products and risk management techniques for our clients that impact, but also protect their bottom line,” Jeff said. “The markets and insureds are continually changing, so we must keep our clients abreast of how these changes will mesh with their operations. Insurance is not ‘one and done.’ We collect information, review options, make decisions, implement the plan and repeat while continuously improving the process.”

Based in Fox River Grove, Illinois, Jeff maintains deep roots in his community, having resided there for over 30 years with his wife, Brigit and their two daughters, Ali and Abby. Beyond his professional endeavors, Jeff was involved in coaching girls’ track pole vault at Cary Grove High School and occasionally still pole vaults with some of the athletes he once coached.
