Kevin Palmer

Kevin Palmer, Vice President, and General Counsel for The Horton Group, addresses all legal matters faced by the agency. His responsibilities include counseling Horton management with respect to compliance with best employment practices, reviewing contracts, and drafting and reviewing merger and acquisition agreements.  “We are a rapidly growing company with many divisions,” Kevin said. “My ability to keep up with new legislation while balancing the needs of the agency ensures that we remain competitive and current.”

Prior to joining The Horton Group as the General Counsel, Kevin gained experience at the Law offices of Bradley Dworkin as an Associate Attorney. “This role helped me make a smooth transition to The Horton Group. From the beginning, I had the confidence and knowledge necessary to solve complicated client issues,” Kevin said.

Kevin is a key resource for both management and internal employees. “The most rewarding part of my job is making sure that our employees receive accurate and timely information about what is required relative to contracts. I enjoy helping our employees make informed business decisions, so I work hard to be a valuable resource.” On any given day, Kevin might work with difficult contracts, review an acquisition deal, and respond to questions from Horton employees regarding new insurance laws.

Kevin resides in Tinley Park, Illinois, with his wife and 3 children. Whenever possible, they travel to Naples, Florida or to Las Vegas. When he is not reading law journals to keep apprised of changes in regulation, Kevin enjoys outdoor exercise and playing golf.
