Michael J. Lloyd

Michael Lloyd is a Vice President on Horton’s Personal Insurance team. In this role, Michael is part of a team of specialists dedicated to delivering insurance solutions tailored to the needs of individuals and families.

Michael brings over 12 years of insurance experience to his Horton clients.  Prior to joining Horton in 2016, Michael served as an Insurance Agent at Brockhaus, Stuber, Fox & Lloyd, where his focus was personal and small business insurance.

Michael is passionate about providing outstanding client service.

“My goal is to treat clients the way I would want to be treated if I were in their shoes,” said Michael. “In a world filled with lousy customer service, I want to be the exception.”

Michael views the insurance industry today as being overly focused on price.

“While price is an important factor in any purchase decision, quality is equally important,” said Michael. “When the worst happens, you want to have the best quality coverage, not just the lowest-priced coverage.”

For Michael, the most rewarding aspect of his position at Horton is the appreciation he receives when he is able to make a client’s day a little easier.

Michael attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Michael grew up in Orland Park, Illinois, where he currently resides. In his time away from work, Michael enjoys working around the yard, tinkering with computers, reading novels, and traveling.
