Paul Jerosimic is an Account Executive for Horton’s Risk Advisory Solutions. In this role, Paul is responsible for providing Horton clients with innovative, comprehensive and cost-effective solutions to meet their most complex, risk-related challenges and opportunities.
Paul is no stranger to the insurance industry, having been a part of it since 2004. His roots are based in small agency culture, where the employees often don multiple hats. Paul expertly applies his diversified knowledge to his work, enabling him to exceed his clients’ expectations and accommodate their needs.
“I think by and large the insurance industry is misunderstood because the product is intangible,” he says. “If brokers can help people understand the value that insurance provides, I think we can reshape the industry.”
Paul keeps an open mind when working with clients, ready to discover new methods to meet their needs or solve a problem. He finds the positive feedback he receives from his clients to be a source of motivation. Paul takes great pride in his work ethic and makes it a personal mission to develop innovative ideas that improve the customer experience.
“My philosophy on insurance can be summarized by a quote from Jeff Bezos,” he says. “’We see our customers as invited guests to a party, and we are the hosts. It’s our job every day to make every important aspect of the customer experience a little bit better.’”
Paul grew up in Park Ridge, IL, and lives with his wife and two girls. He is a self-proclaimed “insurance nerd” and enjoys physical activities such as running and skiing. He can also be found trying new kinds of bourbon.
