Zach Paz

Zach Paz is a Senior Safety Consultant for Network Safety Consultants, a Horton subsidiary which provides comprehensive safety consulting services to a growing number of industrial, construction, public entity and service operations. Since 1991, Horton’s Safety Consultants team has offered clients a multitude of services designed to control exposure to risk at every level of operation.

Zach joined Horton in May of 2015 after completing a rigorous four-month internship with Horton Safety Consultants. 

“My internship with Horton Safety Consultants was an outstanding learning experience that gave me great preparation for my role at Horton,” said Zach. “It was also an excellent opportunity to get to know and work with the Horton safety team.”

Zach’s responsibilities at Horton include providing safety training, safety inspections and industrial hygiene monitoring for Horton clients.  Zach takes his commitment to client service very seriously, always striving to go above and beyond to meet his clients’ expectations.  

“Building personal relationships with clients is integral to improving their overall safety program efforts,” said Zach. “You need to have great communication with employees and management, sometimes working to facilitate communication between these two groups.”

For Zach, the most rewarding aspect of his position at Horton is seeing consistent improvements in his clients’ safety programs and knowing he has personally had a positive impact on employees’ work practices.

“Nothing compares to having the ability to protect and potentially save workers’ lives,” said Zach.

In the future, Zach looks forward to continually expanding his knowledge to impact clients’ safety cultures and making himself a valuable asset to the Horton team.  

Zach earned a Safety Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Health Science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
