Horton Group – Producer Perspective; Insight on Wellness and Population Health

Mike’s career as an insurance consultant has been based on his unwavering passion for expanding accessibility and long-term affordability of health care. His involvement legislatively, in the industry, and the community has had a profound influence on the way he presents healthcare options to his clients. Mike continuously looks for innovative ways to assist employers with long-term strategies and has helped them evolve to healthcare models with emphasis on product understanding, consumerism through cost transparency, prevention, and proper options and engagement for all generations.

Robin Bettenhausen joined The Horton Group in 2001, managing the company’s benefits and Human Resources. During this time, Robin developed and implemented a wellness program, which received national recognition from the Wellness Council of America for the significant results the program delivered.

Rick Klein came to The Horton Group in 2001 to serve as the President of Horton Benefit Solutions. In that capacity, he was responsible for maintaining and enhancing key vendor relationships, developing and monitoring sales efficiencies and communicating the division’s value proposition to clients, prospects, and vendors. In 2006, he accepted a position to move into production.

Vanessa Senese is a Wellness Specialist for Horton’s Employee Benefits Solutions Division.
