WAUKESHA, WI – NOVEMBER 4, 2014– Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee recognized The Horton Group, an insurance, and risk advisory firm, as a “Healthiest Employer” for a commitment to employee wellness.

The Healthiest Employer awards program highlights organizations committed to creating a healthy workplace. The multi-city program includes over 4,000 participating employers; sharing critical wellness information on more than 60 million employees’ lives. Winners are selected based on their performance in executing six core values set by the Healthiest Employers LLC, of Indianapolis. The award assessment considers over 300 data points that aligned with the HealthiestEmployer programs’ core values (leadership, communication, programming, foundation, planning, and reporting).

The October 31st edition of the Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee featured the award winners.  2014 represents the second consecutive year Horton earned this prestigious honor. The award ceremony took place Friday, October 31st, 2014 at the Pfister Hotel. At the luncheon, a member of Horton’s worksite wellness team accepted the award on behalf of the Horton team.
