You will also receive free preventive care and other important coverage options, so you can choose a plan that’s right for you. People without coverage will be assessed a tax penalty in addition to being responsible for 100 percent of their medical costs. Sign up during open enrollment starting Nov. 1 to make sure you are covered and to avoid additional taxes.
