Marsh Agency Nonprofit Summit
On October 1, we hosted our annual Nonprofit Summit at the DuPage Children’s Museum. Nonprofit professionals gathered for a series of timely, solution-focused discussions designed to spark ideas, share practical insights, and connect leaders across the sector.
This year’s program featured interactive roundtables and hot-topic sessions on important issues affecting nonprofit organizations, including AI and finance, captives for nonprofits, outsourcing placements, and employee engagement and benefit satisfaction. Attendees heard from industry experts and engaged in thoughtful conversations about strategies that support stronger operations, smarter decision-making, and a more engaged workforce.
IARF 2026 conference
In early September, Robin and Tom traveled to East Peoria for the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities’ (IARF) 2026 Educational Conference & Expo. The three-day conference is the premier annual gathering for community-based I/DD and behavioral health providers in Illinois. This year’s theme, Pathways to Possibility, reflected IARF’s shared commitment to innovation, growth, and expanding opportunities for the individuals and communities it serves.
Highlights from the conference included a full day dedicated to DSPs, valuable networking opportunities, and Robin and Tom putting their barista skills to good use.
