George Daly started with Horton in 2005. He is the executive sponsor and strategic leader responsible for the personal lines property and casualty insurance business that serves middle-market, affluent, and high-net-worth clients across the nation. His responsibilities encompass strategy, production, client experience, management, and P&L performance.

In addition, George is responsible for corporate administration, office services, property management and special events at Horton.

Before his current role, George was the President of Personal Insurance and COO at Horton, where he was responsible for the agencyโ€™s corporate resources, information technology, marketing, and the personal lines team, and for working with the various divisions. George has over 30 years of insurance and operations experience and received the Award of Excellence for outstanding work from InsureOne.ย 

George places a great emphasis on giving back to his community. He serves on the Franciscan Alliance Health Foundation Board, which is dedicated to addressing the ever-growing healthcare needs of lower-income communities. In addition, George helped build Challengers Field, a place where kids and young adults with mental and physical challengesย can play baseball. There are more than 100 kids who play in the Challengers program. Now, George coaches a specialย needs team and continues to organize andย help raise funds so that all kids canย play for free. Additionally, George served with the Tinley Park Fire Department for 8 years.
George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Chicago State University in Chicago, Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN.ย 

George grew up in Oak Lawn, Illinois, and now resides in Tinley Park, Illinois, with his wife, Margie, and their three children. George is incredibly passionate about youth sports. He was fortunate to coach his children for many years and served on the St. Elizabeth Seton Athletic Board. He is a Director on the Andrew High School Booster Club and a member of the Principal/School Improvement Committee.
