John Cordan is an Account Executive in Horton’s Risk Advisory Services division. He supports some of the highest-performing members of the production team and ensures commitments to clients are met.

Since graduating college, John has held various roles at Horton, allowing him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business process, which facilitates the effective execution of service plans. His most memorable experiences at Horton involve the company’s great culture and enjoyable moments with teammates outside the office.

“I strive to get better every day,” John says. “As time passes, the plan is to be a better version of myself, which will continue to create opportunities for growth.”

In a challenging market with strong competition, John believes in being proactive and focusing on continuous improvement to stay ahead. He is committed to meeting or exceeding client expectations, delivering on promises, and providing consistent service.

“It’s important to make sure we are doing everything we can to maximize the amount of time our clients are focused on running their business, not bogged down dealing with insurance,” he says.

John hails from Libertyville, IL, and has a Golden Retriever named Walter. When he is not in the office, you can likely find him on the golf course.
