Our nonprofit team works tirelessly to stay on top of the latest industry news and trends so they can provide innovative recommendations to their clients. This fall, Robin Bettenhausen, one of our executive vice presidents, and Tom Kallai, one of our sales consultants, attended various nonprofit conferences to gain new insights. Here’s an overview of where they went and what they learned in the fall of 2023:

IARF

From August 30 to September 1, Robin and Tom attended the Illinois Association of Rehabilition Facilities (IARF) Educational Conference & Expo in East Peoria IL, an annual event targeted for community based I/DD and Behavioral Health providers. They took home insight on various topics, including but not limited to integrating technology into human services, collaborating with first responders and revamping training programs.

Cornerstone Services

On October 19, Robin and Tom attended a Social Services HR Meeting held in the newly designed training and wellness center at Cornerstone Services, one of our clients located in Joliet, IL. Approximately 20 HR professionals attended, and Tom and Robin were honored to present on new trends in Employee Benefits as well as ways that HR can impact Risk Management.

The Institute on Public Policy

On November 7 and 8, Robin and Tom are looking forward to attending The Institute Executive Summit 2023, hosted by The Institute of Public Policy for People with Disabilities in Tinley Park, IL. This gathering of industry leaders and C-suite executives will focus on the latest national trends impacting Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services. We are pleased to be a Silver Sponsor for this event. If you are interested in attending, contact Tom or Robin for a $100 discount code.
