Drew Snedegar

Drew Snedegar is a Risk Management Consultant for Horton’s Risk Advisory Solutions division. He is responsible for providing Horton clients with comprehensive, cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet their most complex, risk-related challenges.

Drew’s past experience gave him exposure to almost all lines of business, including captive insurance. He now is a part of the Minneapolis Property & Casualty team, which is comprised of professionals with more than 20 years of experience developing P&C and risk management strategies for clients.

When it comes to business, Drew focuses on putting people in the center. His colleagues have complimented him on his pleasant demeanor, strong problem solving skills and his willingness to always help a team member.

“Success in business and life is about developing meaningful relationships with people,” Drew says. “It’s important to understand their goals, problems and needs, and become a person they can trust, identify with, work with or buy from.”

When it comes to his philosophy on client advocacy and customer service, Drew believes that understanding a client’s business is critical to successfully advocate on their behalf and deliver the service experience they need.

“The customer is always right,” Drew says. “Even if they’re wrong, make them think they’re right. I love to find solutions for my customers that helps them grow.”

Drew is from Des Moines, Iowa (where his family still lives) and has lived in seven different states throughout his life. Outside of the office, he is a diehard outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, and hunting. He also enjoys working with his hands – in fact, he owned and operated a small engine repair service from 2015 to 2023.
