Matt Adcock is a Safety Consultant for Horton’s Risk Advisory Solutions Division, where he is dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive, cost-effective and innovative solutions to address their most complex risk-related challenges and opportunities.

Horton’s safety department orchestrates a comprehensive array of services, functioning as a one-stop shop for all safety needs. Matt ensures that every aspect of safety is meticulously addressed, which he does by conducting meticulous safety audits, refining safety manuals, overseeing noise monitoring and air sampling and delivering diverse safety training sessions.

Matt is considered the go-to expert for tackling the most intricate risk-related challenges. One of his most cherished professional moments stems from a three-year collaboration with a client. During a pivotal carrier/client meeting, the client’s commendable reduction in MOD rating was attributed to Matt’s diligent efforts, as acknowledged by the company’s owner.

“Customer service goes a long way in representing yourself and the agency,” he says. “If there is great customer service, then you can ensure your clients are happy, and the agency is being represented positively.”

A staunch advocate for client welfare, Matt maintains robust relationships with former colleagues and directors, offering guidance and support whenever needed. Renowned for his efficiency and attention to detail, Matt’s clients often marvel at the thoroughness of his manuals and reports and his exceptional ability to foster trust and satisfaction.

“Insurance can save people hundreds if not thousands of dollars, and it can put you back on your feet after a devastating loss,” he says. “I love being the person my clients can trust and turn to for their safety needs.”

Outside of work, Matt resides in Batavia, Illinois, with his loving family and their husky, Loki. Balancing his roles as a husband, father to three children, and youth wrestling coach, Matt finds solace in MMA training and pursuing adrenaline-inducing activities (such as skydiving), albeit with a newfound caution since becoming a parent. With a penchant for DIY projects and an adventurous spirit, Matt embodies a multifaceted approach to his professional and personal life.
