Tony Hopkins wasn’t satisfied with simply earning a bachelor of business administration degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has continued his education and has sharpened his skill sets working with The Horton Group’s Risk Management Services division.

Tony joined The Horton Group full-time in January of 2005 as part of the Horton Producer Development program. He was also part of the Horton Intern program during the summer of 2004.

“The support and resources available through Horton have made the difference for me,” Tony said. “Whether it is claims advocacy, surety, legal assistance or our safety personnel, the Horton experience is above the rest.”

Tony says his primary focus is delivering outstanding service that exceeds his client’s expectations. “I never assume the solution before first hearing the entirety of an issue,” Tony explained. “I have learned that it is imperative to find other ways to help our clients above and beyond simply providing an insurance policy.”
 
His strengths include serving his clients as an advisor – much more than a broker responsible for marketing a case to appropriate insurance carriers. Tony credits his fellow sales executves for his ability to quickly deliver an array of resources.

Tony’s tireless drive and thirst for knowledge is shown through recent attainment of the Chartered Casualty & Property  Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
