WAUKESHA, WI – NOVEMBER 1, 2013– Business Journal announced today that The Horton Group, a privately held insurance brokerage and risk management firm, was honored as a “Healthiest Employers” for our commitment to a health work force.

The Healthiest Employer Award is given to a company that has demonstrated excellence in worksite wellness. According to Business Journal, these employers “have tackled the task of keeping their workers healthy and fully understand the benefits to employees and the bottom line of having an established wellness program”.
This year, The Horton Group was one of 30 employers awarded this prestigious honor.
The award was presented to Trisha Ours, a member of Horton’s worksite wellness team, who accepted at a private luncheon hosted at the Pfister Hotel on Thursday.
