And, here’s even more good news: Most organizations have moved beyond physical wellness and are venturing into other dimensions of well-being, such as emotional and financial well-being. Here’s the bad news: most organizations are still struggling with low rates of engagement.
So, what gives – and what can you do differently? Evidence suggests that activating managers may well be the lynchpin that can make the difference. According to Gallup, the manager may account for up to 70 percent of the variance in employee engagement.
In a dynamic, interactive and hands-on workshop, learn the fundamentals of how you can activate managers in your organization to become “multipliers” of well-being – and the difference this can make.
Following this workshop, participants will be able to:
- List three reasons from the literature about why managers are primary contributors toward employee engagement in well-being.
- Distinguish between a manager acting as a “multiplier” and a “gatekeeper”.
