Eric Harkins

Eric Harkins is Vice President of Business Development for Horton’s Employee Benefits division. He focuses on expanding Horton’s suite of products while building a new HR consulting practice aimed at supporting clients’ people strategies.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in corporate America, Eric brings a unique perspective to the role. He has served as Head of HR for three organizations, gaining first-hand experience across a wide variety of business models – Fortune 50 to privately held, family-owned to private equity-backed – spanning industries such as retail, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, technology, and business services. His background also includes time spent in consulting and career transition services, further enriching his ability to understand and solve business challenges from multiple angles. He has shared his expertise in his book, Make Sure Monday Morning Doesn’t Suck, for which he was recognized by Amazon as a #1 Best Selling Author.

Eric is known for his energy, enthusiasm and the ability to build meaningful connections.
