“The insurance world, whether health or property and casualty, is a rapidly evolving world. Constant changes in health legislation and the commercial risk of global pandemics have created the need for creative consultants now more than ever.”
Jeff Sealey is the Director of Sales for Horton’s Indiana Operations. In this role, Jeff drives overall strategic direction and sales and organizational leadership, focusing on organic growth and new business development.
Jeff comes to Horton with over ten years of experience in insurance, focusing on both the onsite clinic and captive industries as well as benefits consulting. Not only has he received numerous awards as a sales leader in benefits consulting, but he’s also built a new health plan that’s proving to be viable and effective for employers. Just before Horton, he was an Employee Benefit Consultant at ONI/Epic Insurance.
“My success in benefits consulting has given me the experience needed to know what it takes to “win” in this business. My background in onsite clinics and captives diversifies my experience and gives me the ability to include a unique creative perspective when collaborating with team members.”
Jeff believes that being on the cutting edge of creative solutions in the consulting world is critical. “As the world continues to evolve and accelerate, I focus on constantly looking for new and creative ways to support all clients – otherwise, you will be left behind.”
And this aligns with his philosophy on customer service as it is the backbone of the organization. He emphasizes the importance of a reliable service team because, without one, success in the long term stands no chance.
Jeff looks forward to collaborating with the Horton Indiana team in building the most creative consulting team in the Midwest, and he means it.
Jeff joined the Navy before finishing college at the University of Missouri Columbia, where he studied Business. He is a long time board member and founder of the Emerging Leaders Board of St. Mary’s Child Center in Indianapolis, IN. Jeff also has been to 19 different countries and says “Alive” by Pearl Jam is a soundtrack song to his life.
