Kyle Fox is the Director of Operations for Horton’s Personal Insurance department and will lead the Service and Remarketing teams. Kyle is part of a team of specialists dedicated to delivering the proper personal insurance solutions and protection tailored to the needs of individuals and families.

Before joining Horton, Kyle was the Director of Underwriting at Kin Insurance. Being in the insurance industry for over ten years, Kyle has grown a passion for providing an excellent customer experience. “I have been exposed to many aspects of our industry, and my experience on the carrier and D2C side helps inform our approach to improving efficiencies and scale while not sacrificing the outstanding customer service our clients have come to expect.”

Kyle’s personal philosophy on the current state of insurance and the insurance industry as a whole is that personal insurance is becoming “increasingly commoditized” and that especially during this time, the pressure to keep bills down is a real struggle for many families. He believes that the insurance landscape is evolving. Now more than ever, there is a risk of overlooking a coverage, which can cause even more economic pain down the road if it is left unaddressed.

“Our value proposition is that we have decades of expertise in understanding the coverage options available, we spend the time getting to know our client’s risk profile and needs, and we maintain relationships with top-notch carriers that allow us to tailor packages specific to them.”

As an advocate and a trusted advisor to his clients, Kyle never loses sight of his client’s needs, and he always puts their needs above his own. “Clients are smart. They know when they’re being sold something that might not be right for them. This is why it’s important to employ a consultative approach from the initial sales lead to something as simple as an auto change.”

Throughout his career, Kyle has kept one thing sacred, which is integrity. Having integrity can only come from being honest, transparent, and having a mutual respect. That is why Kyle has been so successful in building trust with his clients.

Now that Kyle has become part of the Horton family, his goal is to continue the Horton tradition, which is being driven, excellent, and together.

Kyle graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in economics. In his 20’s, Kyle lived in six cities, which included Columbus, Minneapolis, Seattle, Providence, Indianapolis, and Chicago. But Chicago has always been his favorite. Since Kyle was born in Toronto and mostly grew up and lived in America, he has dual citizenship. Now that he has settled in Chicago, he enjoys the great bars and restaurants and is an avid concertgoer.
