Jon Cappel is a Sales Executive for The Horton Group. Jon's extensive knowledge of insurance and risk management helps him meet the diverse needs of Horton's clients. His background includes working in Horton's Welding & Gas and Real Estate practice groups.
Jon draws on his four years of specialized college coursework in insurance - and his experience working in every aspect of the Welding & Gas and Real Estate industries – to serve a wide client base. This affords Jon the opportunity to leverage extensive connections in the marketplace to best serve his clients. Specialized markets also allow Jon to offer clients cost-effective programs that many other brokers cannot access.
Within each practice group, Jon has been able to work with a team of highly experienced individuals. Being part of a team dedicated to understanding and serving clients in these industries helps Jon build trusted relationships with clients.

Jon received his Bachelor of Science in Insurance from Illinois State University and the Katie School of Insurance. He is currently pursuing his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations. When he is not working, Jon enjoys golfing and watching sports.
