Chris Utz

Chris Utz is a Senior Vice President for Horton’s Employee Benefit Solutions. In this role, Chris is responsible for providing expertise on industry benefits and consultative guidance to aid clients in navigating the ever-changing benefits marketplace.

After 12 years of working in insurance, Chris has developed a deep understanding of the industry and how to use that knowledge to be a strong consultant for his current and prospective clients. Insurance is risk management – knowing this, Chris brings insurance best practices and creative options to his clients to serve them best.

As a salesman and a client leader, Chris knows the importance of communication and development of relationships. Responsiveness and dedication to service are what sets him apart from others. Using these tools, Chris hopes to receive validation and be seen as a leader to others in the Milwaukee office.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He has been married to his wife for 14 years. Chris is also the biggest fan of his 12-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter – one who sails around the country and the other who competitively downhill ski races, respectively.
